1. Download and open the app, choose a server from the list, and sign up with your email and password. 2. Set up your profile by adding a photo and bio, then choose your default post visibility such as public, unlisted, or followers only. 3. Create a post by tapping the plus button, selecting photos or videos, arranging them, adding a caption, hashtags, and alt text, then publish. 4. Discover content via Explore and Search, follow creators across the network, and engage by liking, commenting, and saving posts. 5. Manage your experience by adjusting notification settings, using mute and block for safety, and reviewing privacy settings for each post.
