HOW TO PLAY :
Download and Install:
Phone by Google is typically pre-installed on most Android devices, but if it's not on your device, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
Set Up the App:
Open the Phone by Google app after installation.
Follow the on-screen prompts to set it as your default phone app if it’s not already the default. This will ensure all calls and call-related functions are managed through the app.
Make a Call:
Open the Phone by Google app.
Use the dial pad to enter a number or choose a contact from your contact list.
Tap the green call button to start the call.
Use Spam Call Blocking:
The app automatically blocks known spam calls.
To manually block a number:
During a call, or from your call history, tap the number you want to block.
Select “Block/report spam” and follow the prompts to confirm.
Use Smart Search During Calls:
While on a call, you can search for keywords mentioned in the conversation.
Tap the search icon on the in-call screen, enter the keyword, and the app will search the web or your contacts for relevant information.
Activate Google Assistant During Calls:
You can use Google Assistant hands-free during a call by saying, "Hey Google," followed by your request (e.g., "What's the weather tomorrow?" or "Remind me to call Mom at 5 PM").
Record Calls (If Available):
During a call, tap the "Record" button on the in-call screen.
Note: Call recording may not be available in all regions or on all devices due to legal restrictions.
View Caller ID:
When you receive a call, the app displays the caller’s phone number, helping you identify who’s calling.
Block Contacts:
To block a contact or number, go to your recent calls or contacts list.
Tap the contact or number you wish to block, and select “Block/report spam” to prevent further calls from that number.
Use the World Clock and Additional Features:
Explore additional features like setting up a bedtime routine, using sleep sounds, and managing time zones through the World Clock function.
Enable Dark Mode:
To enable the dark mode, open the app, go to settings, and choose the “Appearance” or “Theme” option, then select “Dark” to reduce eye strain, especially in low-light environments.
