CommCare is a mobile platform designed for frontline workers (FLWs) in low-resource environments. It is used across over 50 countries and is the most widely adopted platform of its kind. The platform is open-source, customizable, and supports more than 200 projects, enabling FLWs to track and support their clients using tools like registration forms, checklists, SMS reminders, and multimedia content. Its features help improve FLW performance, reporting accuracy, and client education. CommCare runs on Java and Android phones, works offline, and integrates SMS for performance improvement. It is designed for low-literate users and offers an easy-to-use app builder, which requires no programming skills.
